TALISMANS - An object marked with magic signs and believed to confer on its bearer supernatural powers or protection.

TALISMANIC - Possessing or believed to possess magic power: a talismanic amulet.

TRANSLUCENT - Clear; lucid.

TRANSPARENT - Capable of transmitting light so that objects or images can be seen as if there were no intervening material.

TRIM SAW - Saw used in the art of lapidary, usually 16 to 24 inches in diameter.

TUMBLING - The rotating of a barrel, with abrasives and water and roughly cut gems. The stones are gradually smoothed and polished.
